Seitens Hasbro wird es kein Royal Starship zur 3D Aufführung von EPISODE 1 geben. Wie sieht die Planung hinsichtlich der Königlichen Yachten aus EPISODE 2 oder gar EPISODE 3 aus? Gibt es zum Start von Episode 1 überhaupt ein Big One oder wird dieses im Jahr 2012 wieder auf CW ausgelegt sein?

I seem to remember that some time ago in another Q&A you promised us, that a new Luke Skywalker – Jedi Knight, as seen in Jabba’s palace would be on the way.
Although I like the figures you came up with for the deleted-scenes Wave, I very much hope that the Luke in this wave does not constitute the Luke Skywalker – Jedi Knight Luke you promised us.
For what we expected was surely a Jedi Luke as seen in Jabba’s palace i.e. with cloak, not a Jedi-robe A CLOAK, with Jabba’s palace-blaster and with a fully sculpted vest and no leather belt.
As seen on photos from Comic-Con the belt on the deleted-scene Luke is removable – which is a great idea, but it looks to me like he has not a fully sculpted vest but more something like a scarf or a stole around the neck.
Please Hasbro either tell us that I’m not right about the scarf-thing, since it was already clear that this would not be screen-accurate as it was addressed in an earlier Q&A concerning the Jedi-Luke from the 30th Anniversary Collection (with the soft-goods “vest”), or tell us that another “real” Jabba’s palace Luke Skywalker is on the way.

Ich glaube mich zu erinnern, daß uns vor einiger Zeit in einer anderen Q&A-Runde, ein neuer Luke Skywalker – Jedi Knight, wie er in Jabbas Palast vorkam, versprochen wurde.
Obwohl ich die Figuren mag, die sie sich für die „Gelöschte-Szenen“ Wave haben einfallen lassen, hoffe ich doch sehr, daß der Luke aus dieser Wave nicht jener Luke Jedi-Knight sein soll, den sie uns versprochen haben.
Denn erwartet hatten wir sicherlich einen Jedi Luke, wie er in Jabba’s Palast vorkam, d.h. mit Umhang, nicht mit einer Jedi-Robe – mit einem Umhang, mit Jabbas Palast Blaster und einer kompletten Weste ohne Ledergürtel.
Wie man auf den Bildern von der Comic-Con sehen kann ist der Gürtel abnehmbar – was ein klasse Idee ist, aber für mich sieht es so aus, als hätte die Figur keine komplett modellierte Weste, sondern eher etwas wie einen Schal oder eine Stola um den Hals.
Bitte Hasbro, sagen sie uns entweder, daß ich unrecht habe mit dem „Schal“, denn schließlich war es doch bereits klar, daß dies nicht film-akkurat wäre, da es bereits in einer früheren Q&A-Runde angesprochen wurde, in Bezug auf den Luke – Jedi Knight aus der 30th Anniversary Collection (mit der „Weste“ aus Stoff), oder teilen sie uns mit, daß noch ein „richtiger“ Jabbas Palst Luke Skywalker kommen wird.

In the last Q&A session a Canadian website asked about a new Hoth Luke for the Luke's Taun Taun. We were happy to hear that a new Hoth Luke has been confirmed for 2012, but in your answer you mentioned that the Taun Taun would not be out in Canada because it's a Target exclusive. Does that apply to the rest of the world as well, that the Taun Taun will only be available in the US? Will this also include the Search for Luke Battle Pack?

why does the TVC AOTC Clone have different legs than the TVC ROTS Clone ? Personally, I prefer the AOTC Clone (and possible descendants like realistic looking Clone Wars Clones) to have the ROTS Clone legs.

In 2010 and 2011 you packed a lot of ROTS clones and Sandtroopers in various cases. To be honest, I was surprised to hear so many collectors complain about this. I guess the saturation point has been reached on white ROTS clones and Sandtroopers. However, there are still a lot of army builders out there, but some of us are a little uncertain where troop building is in your planning process. We can understand after having to take clone troopers off the pegs that you might be a little shy on placing too many trooper figures in future waves. Can you let us know how you would like to handle this situation in the future? Will we see fewer repeats of trooper figures (as in the past) or are you going to focus on other troopers in future case assortments?

By the time this question gets answered, we'll know more about the TPM line-up. At thetime this was written though, we know that there will be 18 TPM single carded figures (12 TVC and 6 Wal-Mart exclusive figures). Will this set a general trend for the upcoming 3D film figures as well? (About 18 figures for the launch of each new film) or will this number vary?

Hello,
now that we have a brand new version of Admiral Ackbar, will we get an updated Mon Calamari Officer, too ? If so, then please give him a pointing hand which the old Ackbars had, I really miss this hand from the new figure.
Besides, there are several other Mon Calamari present during ROTJ, which could make interesting new variations, plus the other high command members standing next to General Madine, and the Ishi Tibs, which would need an update, too.

Gibt es konkrete Pläne für die Umsetzung eines ROTJ Biker Scout-Updates mit abnehmbarem Helm und artikulierbarer Hüfte zum besseren Platzieren auf den Speeder Bikes? Beides besitzt die 2006er Version leider nicht.

In früheren Q & A Sessions wurde erwähnt, daß es eine überabbeitet Version von Hrchek Kal Fas mit Filmakkuraten schwarzen Augen geben würde. Ebenso wurde ein Snowtrooper Commander in Aussicht gestellt, der auch "Armybuilder zufrieden stellen würde" (zitat Hasbro). Diese Informationen sind allerdings schon über ein Jahr alt und seitdem hat man hiervon nichts mehr gehört. Kann Hasbro hierzu aktualisierte Angaben machen?

Habro hat schon einmal erklärt, daß es die Problematik nicht bemalter Gelenke kennt, die viele Fans als grosses Manko betrachten. Als Grund gab Hasbro Kostengründe an. Nun fällt es bei den Figuren mit Übergang von Schuhen zu Hose nicht besonders auf (z.B. Boba Fett oder Rebel Ground Crew). Bei Figuren, die Stiefel tragen (praktisch alle imperialen Offiziere, aber auch General Lando Calrissian, Ponda Baba etc.) fällt es hingegen extrem auf, wenn graue Gelenke sichtbar sind! Das ist besonders ärgerlich, weil es hier auch Figutren trifft, auf die Fans zum Teil viele Jahre bis zur Wiederveröffentlichung warten mussten und es bleibt der Eindruck einer "unvollendeten" und unfertigen Figur.

Wäre es für Hasbro nicht möglich, zumindest bei diesen Figuren mehr Sorgfalt bei der farblichen Umsetzung walten zu lassen?

danke fuer die fragen. leider gibt es zur zeit unstimmigkeiten mit dem zeitplan bis wann fragen abgeschickt werden muessen. es koennte sein das erst im naechsten jahr wieder fragen angenommen werden, warte da noch auf eine antwort. sobald ich mehr weiss wirds gepostet.

Hasbro hat mit C-3PO aus der Vintage Collection eine schöne Idee für eine kompett neue Figur entwickelt. Leider ist die Umsetzung meiner Meinung nach aber sehr unzureichend. Die Figur ist schlicht viel zu klein und zierlich. Sie müsste in etwa so groß sein, wie die aktuellen Luke Skywalker-Figuren. War dies ein Fehler, der vor der Produktion nicht mehr bemerkt wurde (falls ja, frage ich mich, wie so etwas passieren kann) oder hat Hasbro absichtlich einen nicht akkuraten Maßstab gewählt. Und wenn ja, welchen Grund gab es dafür???

Bis heute gibt es leider noch keine einzige ANH-Version von Owen Lars auf Einzelkarte - trotz der 34jährigen (!) Produktionsgeschichte von Kenner/Hasbro und trotz der Tatsache, daß Owen im ersten drittel des Film eine zentrale Rolle spielt. Denkt Hasbro eventuell darüber nach, die Owen-Figur aus dem Comic-Pack auf Karte wiederzuveröffentlichen und würde in dem Falle der Produktionsfehler mit der deutlich sichtbaren Ziffernfolge auf Owens Stiefel korrigiert?

Angeblich soll der C-3PO nun Maßstabsgetreuer sein, als früher; dazu hat es bei RS sehr hitzige Diskussionen gegeben (inklusive dem Posten verschiedenster Bilder aus den Filmen, die ihn zusammen mit anderen Darstellern zeigen), ob das nun stimmt, oder nicht.

why do animated Clone Wars astromech droids have panels that can be opened, combined with "arms", like R7-D4 has, and realistic-looking Vintage Collection astromech droids don't ?
Will realistic looking astromech droids have these panels which can be openened together with "droid arms" in the future, too ?

Beabsichtigt Hasbro in 2012 den fehlenden Imperialen Techniker mit dem Deckel des Scanners zu bringen. Die 1. Figur ist im Rahmen der "The Legacy Collection" erschienen, leider fehlt noch sein "Partner".

Hello Hasbro,

several newer figures seem to suffer from quite a noticeable Lordosis : htttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lordosis. I noticed this especially for several humanoid droids like the CZ-4, and the newest Dengar, too. You can notice it when you look at the point where the upper torso and the lower torso of a figure are jointed. The actual joint shouldn't be visible, because if it does, it doesn't look "realistic".
My main complaint, however, about this Lordosis is that it hinders some figures from standing upright: They tend to fall over.
Could you please keep this in mind for future sculpts ? Thank you.

Wäre es nicht möglich, die Figuren der "The Vintage Collection" in einer Schutzhülle (Shell) auszuliefern, wie einst die VOTC Figuren?
Für MOC Sammler ist es ein Horror, in den Spielwarengeschäften und Supermärkten begehrte Figuren zu finden, die durch unsachgemäße Handhabung beschädigt (geknickt, gestaucht, etc.) wurden.
Gerade Karten, die länger schon an (überfüllten) Haken hängen, sind durch
unzählige Stürze für MOC Sammler leider unbrauchbar.
Speziell in Deutschland sind die Figuren sehr teuer und durch eine Schutzhülle könnte der Wert für MOC Sammler dauerhaft erhalten werden.
Das würde sicherlich die Anzahl der Ladenhüter in den Geschäften reduzieren!

I'm utterly disappointed about the figure of Ben Quadrinarios.
I have waited almost 10 years for this figure. He is in my opinion - after Jar Jar Binks - the most jolly, funny and colourful character from the whole movie.
Then, why hs his figure such a grim face expression as if he was going into war ? The figure's face expression doesn't even match the figure's cardback photo !
And on the other hand - why does the Naboo Royal Guard have such a light-hearted face expression ? Shouldn't he look rather like he was going into war ?
I find it disturbing that a fun character has such a grim face expression and a war-related character has such a light-hearted face expression. In my opinion, it should have been vice versa.
