Dear Hasbro,

You've told us what to expect in the ROTJ and AOTC Waves and in 2011 you said we will see mixed waves. I think will make each wave more exciting because every film has a chance to be represented in any given wave. From your SDCC presentation it sounded like a wave would be built around 6 new or newish figures. What about the other 6 in each case. Will we see a lot of carry forward from previous waves or are you looking at the other six slots as a chance to re-release some figures we haven't seen in a while like R5-D4, Hammderhead (Momaw Nadon), VOTC Han Solo, etc. ?

Ist jetzt nicht so von Dringlichkeit, aber mich würde interessieren, ob Hasbro irgendwann einen Stormtrooper mit echtem "working holster" bringt? Als running change oder so ... - die jetzige "Blaster in Holster"-Lösung ist einfach nur albern.

Das man Holster (auch für größere Wummen) optisch geschickt und vor allem "funktionierend" anbringen kann, hat "H" an anderen Figuren ja besten bewiesen.

1. With the "Star Wars Endor Pilots" set you put rebel pilots plus one astromech droid into one package - wouldn't this be THE ideal occation to put the much-demanded, nearly sold-out "Scramble On Yavin" rebel pilot Red Leader Garven Dreis plus his R5-K6 astromech droid into one package ? This would be a neat way to distrupt scalpers' sales.

2. You plan to put both Bastila Shan and Nom Anor into The Vintage Collection line. I seriously doubt that this is a good move. In fact, I rather believe that this is a grave mistake, and that they should be much better put into the Saga Legends collection. My reason is that The Vintage Collection only uses real film or otherwise photos - although sometimes computer-generated - and that both Bastila Shan and Nom Anor come from video games and comics, respectively. They simply wouldn't fit into the design of The Vintage Collection, since there are no photos or movie stills available for both of them. In my opinion, the quality in terms of graphics just isn't good enough today to make comic/video games figures look as if they had been in a movie. It's as if you would try to put a Clone Wars character on a Vintage Collection card. That's why I believe they just wouldn't fit in there. On the other side, the graphics of the Saga Legends line are nothing but comic graphics - which would be just ideal for them. Especially since both (Nom Anor, Bastila Shan) come from non-realistic looking sources. So I suggest that you might put both into the Legends line instead, not into The Vintage Collection.

Ist zwar nicht Topic, aber ich dachte bisher, das es sich hier um eine Kombi aus Foto und Zeichnung handelt... Kann das irgendwer aufklären?

Es handelt sich bei dem Foto fuer die Boba Karte um das Pre-Production 2 Kostuem. Das Foto und andere entstand bei einem Kenner Fotoshoot, bevor das eigentliche ESB Kostuem endgueltig festgelegt wurde.

Frage: ist es denn nicht so, daß über dieses Photo "drüber gemalt" wurde, daß also die eigentliche Karte ein "Gemälde" ist?
Ich finde der Boba auf der Vintage Karte sieht so gar nicht "photographiert" aus.

boba ist fotographiert. der feuerball natuerlich nicht, der flammenwerfer funktionierte zwar mal, aber bei einem echten feuerball waere es in der perspektive wohl fuer den fotografen nicht gut ausgegangen.

Ich kann nicht das Gegenteil beweisen, aber glauben tu ich das noch nicht, für mich sieht das einfach nicht photorealistisch aus (auch der Boba selbst nicht).

Übrigens, meine Kommentare waren nicht als Kritik an deiner Frage an sich gemeint.
Ich teile deine Meinung bezüglich der computeranimierten Bilder z.B. bei Bastila Shan zwar nicht, aber das heißt natürlich nicht, das ich ein Problem damit habe, daß es dir nicht gefällt und du Hasbro die entsprechende Frage stellt.

hasbro ist mit den antworten seit 2 wochen ueberfaellig. nichts desto trotz laeuft am 29.10. die naechste frist ab um weitere fragen zu stellen. wer also noch was wissen moechte, hat noch 2 tage eine frage zu stellen.

Oder meinst du damit, ob sie den nochmal im "angepaßten" Maßstab (aktuelle ROTJ-Wave) bringen?

Den R2 gibt es zwar schon, er ist aber hierzulande sehr, sehr selten. Auf Ebay zum Beispiel wird er praktisch nie angeboten.
Die "Droid Factory" Wave 1 ist so schon schwer zu bekommen, Wave 2 ist hierzulande noch nicht einmal erschienen !
(Der R2 gehört zu Wave 1.)

Dann sollte man die Frage präzisieren oder umformulieren, damit von Hasbro nicht aus so 'ne doofe Antwort kommt wie von mir.

Any time I look at the OTC Lobot, I have the impression as if I was looking at the face of Sir Patrick Stewart. Was this intentional or is it just my imagination ?

A question that goes on in my head for many years now : What's the reason behind the wide leg stance of some figures ? For example Moff Jerjerrod, the Nikto Gunner, the bearded Hoth Rebel Trooper, Isabet Reau, the female concept Starkiller Hero (and a few other concept figures) ... Is this kind of an action-oriented aesthetic ? Is this this meant to express some kind of maleness ? Or does it have other psychological or otherwise reasons ? Regarding Moff Jerjerrod, for example, I don't think it fits with this carcter, becuse this wde leg stance just doesn't show the humbleness he should express towards the arriving Lord Darth Vader ...

An oddity I once found is that there are some figures featuring a special kind of "gesture". There are some with a straight arm nd a bent arm, among them are : The Ishi Tib, the old Owen Lars, the (P)OTC Myo, the OTC Lobot and the old 2-1B (not the post-ROTS one).
My question is : Is this the "trade mark" of a specific sculptor ? If so, who is it, then ?

Mir ist auch noch was eingefallen, das ich gerne wissen möchte:

I think it’s a great idea to reuse the parts of the „build-a-droid“ program to bring us new droids, like K-3PO from the Defense of Hoth Battlepack or the upcoming R5-D4.
And I’m hoping for more droids based on those parts (Death Star Droid... hint, hint).
But there is one thing that bugs me: although great for customizing and added play-value, the additional holes at the bottom of the astromech-torsos, are a little disrupting to the aesthetics of a carded „charakter-figure“ like R5-D4.
Any plans to remove them from the upcoming R5-D4, or future astromechs based on the B.A.D.-parts?

Der schwarze Death Star Droid ist tatsächlich in der amerikanischen Wave 3 erschienen ! - Nur hierzulande halt nicht. Nur Importer haben diese Figuren bekommen - meines Wissens nach.

Abgesehen davon sprichst du etwas an, was mich auch sehr stört.
